Continuing google's bid for world domination…or at least internet domination, you will soon be able to buy domain names from the little search engine.
This could even spark a bit of a price war as the existing providers attempt to deal with the threat of the worlds most popular page intruding on their market.

Well, in a process that is all too familiar to the experienced apple buyer, I have just suffered the first degradation of the technology I bought. Yes…the new range of powerbooks are out, boasting increased processor speed, more ram…etc
Simply the most intriguing feature is the apple take on touchpad usage. Personally, I use sidetrack which gives the touchpad horizontal and vertical scroll by sliding down the edge and right click by tapping the corner. This was great…till I saw what the new powerbooks have.
The new concept is actually using two fingers instead of just one, move two fingers right…scroll right, two up…scroll up, two in a circle…refresh. Very nice, although I reserve final judgment till I have used it.
Anyway, my powerbook is still doing its job very well indeed…firefox with 10+ tabs open, word, final cut, ical, shrook , uptime of 8 days and no visible slowdown…
